About our event

Tunnels are essential to meeting the needs of communities and reduce congestion on the roads. From connecting highways, railways to increasing resilience for supply chains, there is a huge benefit in diversifying and connecting transport networks underground. With the current obstacles posed by monetary inflation, geopolitical pressures and high increase in cost of materials and labour, 2023 has been a difficult year for industry.

The Tunnels Summit is bringing together 150 senior D&C and O&M tunnelling leaders from project delivery authorities, construction organisations, joint ventures and asset operators to increase end to end collaboration on tunnel life cycle.

Discussions on the day will cover complex project delivery management, safety in design and construction, structural and technical risks, as well as achieving sustainable outcomes and optimising operational excellence across maintenance of aged assets.
